Hey there! I’m Natalie but you may call me Nem if you wish, a 20 something aspiring writer from the Midlands (UK). Most days you’ll find me hanging out with my dog watching nature or crime documentaries and Peep Show, but when I do venture out I like to be amongst the trees in any green space I can get myself to in the hopes of one day becoming a real life hobbit and living in the side of a hill, doing nothing but eating baked goods and reading Stephen King novels all day. (Not really, but a girl can dream.)
After studying Psychology for five years, a couple of bouts of therapy, and a few of life’s curveballs being thrown at me I’ve learnt a lot about, and grown to be a huge advocate for taking care of yourself properly and nurturing your soul, and so The Self Care Station was born.
Here, you can expect a safe space to explore what self care really is, find out why you need it in your life, and discover new ways to deal with said curveballs in life. I hope you learn something, and if you don’t, I hope I can help reaffirm that which you already know.
If you want to find out what I do in my day to day life, you can find me on Instagram here
I hope to see you very soon.
